Genae Girard recently won a lawsuit against Myriad Genetics for restricting research on a gene they patented which prevents patients' access to adequate medical care. Ann Hart's son, John, is a 24-year-old man with autism. Ann serves as the President of the Autism Society's Greater Austin Chapter.
